Do you only do black and white photography?
Yes, I feel most comfortable in the black and white media.  I have worked in color in the past, but I believe that black and white offers me more creativity.

No.  I only use the hand colored technique on images that I feel would be augmented by it.

Are all of your images from New Orleans?
No.  The majority are from the greater New Orleans area, but many are from other parts of the county.  I do love New Orleans, and find it a beautiful place to photograph, but have many image from other areas.

Are your images digitally produced?
No.  All of my images are 100% traditional chemical based photographic prints.  While I respect the work of my digital colleagues, I prefer to use traditional photographic techniques.  My prints are produced using basically the same methods that where used over 100 years ago.  Traditional photographic techniques are used less and less, and this is one reason why I choose to use them.  I enjoy my part in preserving an art form.

I just purchased a print.  What is the best way to care for it?
Photographic prints are susceptible to water damage.  Do not get the print wet.  Not only will it damage the photographic surface, it will also cause the hand coloring to run.  Also protect from high humidity.  As with any piece of art, keep out of direct sunlight.

When will my print arrive after I order it?
Turnaround times depend on the specific image.  All images will arrive within 3 weeks, some might be a quick as one week.  Hand colored prints take addition time to cure, so e-mail us with any questions you may have.
